What an amazing school you have! A sincere thank you to the students, parents, grandparents, and friends of St Margaret Mary’s for making me feel so welcome this term. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful, caring community. I look forward to working with you on some of the initiatives I would like to re-start at StMM, such as Playgroup and Coffee & Connect.

Our Year 6 candidates will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at OLSH Church this Wednesday and Thursday. To prepare, Mrs Clayton and I shared a wonderful Confirmation Retreat Day with the students today.
A special thank you to the parents who joined us to decorate candles, marking this milestone in their children’s lives. During the retreat, we explored how Confirmation signifies a transition into young adulthood. Students created beautiful artworks representing the light of the Holy Spirit and discussed living out its gifts and fruits daily.
After lunch, Fr Pat and Fr Bill joined us for a moving Reconciliation liturgy. To close the day, Mrs Clayton and I challenged the Year 6 students to step into the spotlight of God’s love and be a force for good in the world. Please keep our candidates in your prayers this week.
