On May 31, our parish has had a very special reason to celebrate as Father Pat had his anniversary of his ordination. Fr Pat visited the children at SCECS and had a delicious afternoon tea of scones and jam and a cup of tea. Thank you Fr Pat for saying yes to God’s call and for the incredible dedication, wisdom and grace you bring to our community every single day.

Congratulations to Lili M on her Baptism last weekend. Baptism is a beautiful and meaningful step in your faith journey as you begin your journey as a Catholic. At STMM, we can’t wait to walk alongside you on this path.

This week our Year 6 candidates will be making their Sacrament of Confirmation. They have spent the past term learning and preparing for this event. Both confirmation masses will be held at OLSH Church and will begin at 5:30pm. Candidates must be at the church from 5pm.
This Friday, Fr Carroll and Year 3 will be leading us in the Feast of the Sacred Heart Mass at 9am. All are welcome to join us for this occasion.

This feast holds a truly special place in our community's heart. Back in the 1670s, Jesus appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque while she was in prayer, revealing His heart burning with love for humanity and saying, "People forget how much I love them. I need you to remind the world." She did exactly that, championing the Feast of the Sacred Heart that we still celebrate globally today. Fast forward 200 years, and our very own MSC priests (Missionaries of the Sacred Heart) took up this exact same torch. Founded by Fr. Jules Chevalier, the MSCs continue St. Margaret Mary’s beautiful mission every single day—reminding our community and the world that we are deeply, unconditionally loved.
