Valentine’s Day Roses Fundraiser

We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day filled with lots of love and thoughtful moments with friends! As many of you know, Valentine’s Day is always a fun and exciting time at our school, and this year’s Valentine’s Day Roses Stall was certainly no exception.

We are excited to share that the stall was a huge success! Over the course of the fundraiser, we raised $943.87, with all proceeds being donated to HeartKids Australia. HeartKids is the only national charity in Australia dedicated to supporting children, teens, and adults affected by childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD).

The organisation provides emotional and practical support, tailored information, and advocacy for individuals and families navigating congenital and acquired heart conditions.

This event would not have been possible without the support, hard work, and contributions of everyone helping behind the scenes, as well as everyone who purchased a rose for their friends and loved ones.

We would especially like to thank the Premature Grandparent’s Club, who generously dedicated their time and care to hand-crafting the beautiful crochet roses that were sold during the week.

We would also like to say a huge thank you also goes to our student helpers and House Initiatives Captains: Justine Phan, Anna Mathew, Jactina Lay, and Anoushka Gera, whose significant effort throughout the week (from organising to selling roses) played a major role in making the fundraiser such a success.

Thank you to everyone in our school community who supported the stall and helped make a meaningful difference!

Sincerely,

Your Citizenship Captains
