Principal's Report

Term 3
We are already at the halfway point of Term 3, with another busy few weeks behind us and plenty still happening across both campuses.
It has been great to see students continuing to engage in their learning, with a range of activities, events and programs taking place across the school. There is certainly no shortage of things happening at Concord!
As we head into the second half of the term, I look forward to seeing our students continue to make the most of the opportunities ahead. Thank you to our staff for their ongoing work and commitment, and to our families for your continued support.
Recent Highlights
Our Year 6 students had a fantastic time at Blackwood Camp, taking part in a range of bush activities and outdoor experiences. A highlight for many was the fossil dig, which gave students the chance to get hands-on and explore something a little different.
There is also plenty of excitement around the school as we prepare for a number of upcoming events, including our Book Week Dress-Up Day, Secondary 7/8 Spectacular, Secondary 9/10 Showcase, Year 11 Presentation Ball and the Victorian State School Spectacular. With lots of rehearsals and preparation underway, it is going to be a very busy and exciting few weeks!
Invitation to Participate in the 2026 Parent / Carer Opinion Survey
Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Carer Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent / Carer Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 17 August to Friday 18 September 2026.
All families are invited to participate in the survey. NOTE: The survey is to be completed only once per household.
The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
Please check Compass for instructions, survey link and PIN number to complete the survey.

Hudson showed confidence by auditioning and gaining an acting role in the Secondary Spectacular, he is committed to and is enjoying acting and dance lessons.
He has shown great leadership and was successful in being elected as the class representative on the Student Representative Council; a role he has undertaken with pride, enthusiasm and responsibility.
