HARMONY DAY
Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce that our school will be celebrating Harmony Day on Thursday, 27th March! While Harmony Day traditionally falls on the 21st of March, due to a busy calendar, we will be holding our celebration a little later this year.
We will begin the day with a Liturgy in the PAC (Performing Arts Centre) at 9.05am, where we will come together as a school community to reflect on the values of peace, inclusion, and unity. Our Religious Education and Wellbeing Leaders will guide us through this moment of prayer and reflection. Parents are most welcome to join us.
This year, our Harmony Day celebration ties into our inquiry unit IDENTITY: ‘What is our story?’ and aligns with our Jubilee year theme, Pilgrims of Hope. As Catholics, we are called to be peacemakers and to embrace inclusivity in our communities. On Harmony Day, we will reflect on the importance of celebrating diversity and fostering understanding among all people.
We look forward to a wonderful day of unity and celebration. We encourage all students to wear a touch of orange eg. hair ribbons, socks, hat, t-shirt. Students will also participate in the classroom activities related to Harmony Day.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we celebrate our shared values and strengthen the bonds that make our community special.
