AFL Grand Final Theme Week

This week, St Mary MacKillop College celebrated AFL Grand Final Theme Week, building excitement and school spirit leading into Grand Final season.

Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to get involved in a range of sporting activities, including Kick in the Bin competitions, Netball Accuracy competitions and a Staff vs Students AFL Nines match.

The week culminated in Footy Colours Day today, with students and staff getting into the spirit by wearing their favourite team colours. Footy Colours Day was also held in conjunction with the Woods House fundraiser for Operation Christmas Child, providing an opportunity for our school community to come together for a great cause.

It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved throughout the week and showing their enthusiasm for sport, competition and school spirit.

LMR Athletics

On Thursday 17 September, 25 St Mary MacKillop College students travelled to Bendigo to compete at the LMR Athletics Championships.

In beautiful sunny conditions, our students represented the College exceptionally well, producing some fantastic results across a range of track and field events. We were particularly impressed by the effort, sportsmanship and determination shown throughout the day.
