The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

"Presentation Day"

Gallery Image

The story of the Presentation Sisters is deeply woven into our school’s Charism, which calls us to live with compassion, courage, and a commitment to justice.

Inspired by Nano Nagle, who devoted her life to educating the poor and bringing light to those in darkness, we continue her mission by fostering a spirit of service and inclusivity in all we do.

The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary reminds us of Mary’s openness to God’s call, a model of faith and dedication that guides our community today. Together, Nano’s vision and Mary’s example shape our Charism, encouraging us to be people of hope, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Tomorrow morning we celebrate Presentation Day with a whole school mass at 9.15am. Everyone is welcome to join us.

FAMILY 2 FAMILY Christmas Appeal 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you walk through our local shopping centres, the festive sights and Back Friday Sales remind us that Christmas is fast approaching. In keeping with our school outreach tradition, we’re very excited to once again launch our Family2Family Christmas appeal. This initiative, in partnership with St Patrick's College, supports the vital work of the St Vincent de Paul Society in our local area. This initiative is about your family giving to another - living out the teachings of Christ.

Each of our K-6 classes, along with the school staff, will be paired with a family living in the Sutherland community, who could use some extra support this holiday season. To make a meaningful impact, we kindly ask you to donate gift cards tailored to the ‘Vinnies Family’ assigned to your child’s class. By choosing to give gift cards over presents or food, we offer families the dignity of choice, allowing them to select what best suits their needs. This is a precious gift in itself. We do ask that the gift cards are not specifically for the purchase of alcohol, such as those from Liquorland, BWS, or Dan Murphy.

We invite you to take time with your family to reflect on your blessings and decide together which member of your class's family you’d like to support with a gift card. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of giving with your children. We understand that this is an expensive time of year, so please know that a single gift card donation per family is more than appreciated, even if you have multiple children at the school.

Attached you’ll find details about your class’s Vinnies family and a list of suggested gift cards. Collaborating with other families to jointly purchase a gift card is a great way to spread the cost.

Please place your gift cards in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with your child’s name and class. Family2Family donations can be placed in your child’s office trays from Monday, 17 November - Friday, 28 November.

Thank you for your generosity and support in making Christmas a little bit brighter for those in need.
