Happy Easter from the Languages Faculty
As the holiday break begins, we encourage families to keep French and Chinese language learning alive at home through simple, enjoyable shared experiences. Combining languages into familiar activities helps students stay engaged while having fun together.
Family Movie Nights
Turn a regular movie night into a language experience by watching French and Chinese films with subtitles. These are easily available on SBS On Demand, Netflix, and Disney+.
Cooking Together
Explore French and Chinese cuisine as a family by preparing authentic dishes together.
Daily Practice with Duolingo
A few minutes each day on Duolingo can help reinforce vocabulary and maintain consistency in both French and Chinese learning.
These shared activities are a wonderful way to support your child’s progress in a relaxed holiday setting. Happy Easter from the Languages Faculty!
