Cross Country

Well done to all the students who participated in our school Cross Country on Tuesday. It was great to see everyone giving it their best go. Congratulations to all the students who have made it through to the next round. We wish you all ther very best!

Year 5 NAPLAN Celebrations

Our Year 5 students recently celebrated the completion of NAPLAN with a fun and well-deserved treat! Together, they enjoyed decorating cookies, getting creative with colours and designs while sharing plenty of laughs. It was a wonderful way to recognise the hard work, effort and persistence they showed throughout the NAPLAN period.

We are so proud of the positive attitude and determination displayed by all students, and it was fantastic to come together and celebrate their achievements in such a joyful way.

Clean Up Australia Day

On Friday the 20th of March, the Year 3 and 5 students did a local clean up at Bon Thomas Reserve for Clean Up Australia Day This teaches the student to care for their environment and contribute to their local community.

It was great to see the students taking pride by picking up rubbish, and we even received a big thank you from a community member who said the area looked amazing!

Waste Free Wednesday

At Deer Park West Primary School, every Wednesday the school participates in Waste Free Wednesday. The students are encouraged to bring a lunch box with NO RUBBISH for both recess and lunch. This is a great way to reduce the amount of waste we create in order to make the earth healthier.

Please assist your child/children in doing this by taking items out of their packets before coming to school.
