From School Council

March Update

At our March meeting, School Council welcomed new members and confirmed the 2026 executive team: Charles (President), Ciannon (Vice President), Paul (Treasurer) and Ceinwen (Secretary).

Council discussed parent communication, including class WhatsApp groups. Council will revisit and update the terms of use and share with clear guidelines to support safe and respectful use. The Principal's Report shared an overview of the school’s Annual Implementation Plan, which outlines priorities for improving student learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy, alongside a strong focus on student wellbeing, engagement and inclusion

From a finance perspective, parent contributions are tracking slightly below where we would like them, and ongoing work to maintain and improve school facilities was noted. 

Team Kids continues to see strong attendance and positive feedback from families. CEF reported on community events, including the fete and trivia night (with more details on this soon). Council is also exploring ways to boost engagement with the Annual General Meeting.
