Dear Parents and Guardians

It has been another amazing fortnight here at Banmira Specialist School. We’ve almost made it through winter and are looking forward to some brighter, warmer days ahead.

Firstly, we want to highlight how successful Book Week was. Students and staff had a wonderful time dressing up and participating in activities at the Junior Campus. It was heartwarming to see the whole school come together to celebrate this special event.

Athletics Day was also a huge success. Although the chilly weather challenged us all (some of us are still warming up!), the day was full of energy, positivity, and encouragement. It was inspiring to see our school values come to life, with students supporting one another and staff working tirelessly to make sure the event ran seamlessly. The students gave their very best, and we are all so proud of their achievements.

We are also excited to announce the upcoming Senior School Debutante Ball. This elegant event is a wonderful opportunity for our senior students to celebrate their achievements and step into a new chapter with confidence and grace. Preparations are well underway, and we look forward to sharing this special night with families and friends.

Looking ahead, we have much more to look forward to for the remainder of the term including the Middle Years School Camp and the Father’s Day morning tea.
