Physical Education

In PE, Foundation students have thoroughly enjoyed participating in our Aussie Hoops Basketball unit. Through a variety of fun and engaging activities, they have been developing their fundamental basketball skills, including dribbling, passing and shooting.

Visual Art

Year 1 and 2 students have been creating Family Portraits from clay as part of their pottery unit this week.

Mandarin

Last term, Year 3 & 4 students enjoyed learning about sports in Mandarin. They developed their speaking skills by asking and answering questions such as “What sport do you like?” and responding in complete Mandarin sentences. In the photos, students are confidently performing role plays to practise these conversations with their classmates. Students also revisited the Dragon Boat Festival (端午节), learning about its cultural significance and traditions. To celebrate the festival, they created their own colourful dragon boat crafts, combining creativity with cultural learning. It was wonderful to see our students enthusiastically using Mandarin in meaningful conversations while developing a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture. Well done, Year 3 & 4!
