Division Athletics

On Friday the 21st of August, 110 Highvale students from all year levels competed at the Division athletics event at the Knox Athletics track. The conditions were somewhat slippery with overnight rain, but otherwise dry and clear weather which made for some excellent competition. 

The following students won events and will now go on to the region stage to be held on Thursday the 8th of October. Jake F, Aquila P, Jaxx L, Stella M, Matti P, Imeth A, Alex L, Jono L, Jazel O, Syrus O, Aaron P, Nikil S, Isla S and Sayeshke W. Well done and congratulations!  

Congratulations as well to the following students on winning their year group individual champion award at the recent Division Athletics event:

Jazel O 14 years female

Sayeshke W 14 years male

Alex L 15 years male

Stella M 17 years female

Syrus O 17 years male * Syrus won all 6 events he completed in!! 

Between the four schools, Highvale students won 5 of the 12 individual overall awards. A terrific effort from all students involved. Thanks to the student helpers and staff who attended!

Year 8 Table Tennis

On Tuesday the 1st of September, 15 year 8 students competed at the interschool table tennis event at Kilsyth Stadium. The boys ended up winning the overall event! Well done! They will now go on to the Region stage, with the competition to be held on the 21st of October again at Kilsyth.
