WA Under 16 National Champions
Congratulations to eight Trinity students who were selected in the Western Australian squad for the 2026 AFL Under 16 National Championships.
Jack Holland, who served as co-captain, joined Cruz Ingleton, Ash Clayton, Sam Keys, Eli Wirrpanda and Nate Cass in helping WA complete an undefeated campaign and claim its first national title since 2017.
WA sealed the championship with a commanding 29-point victory over Victoria Country, winning 8.15 (63) to 4.10 (34) in the final match on the Gold Coast.
We also congratulate Luke Websdale and Xavier Allison, who earned selection in the squad but were unfortunately unable to take the field due to injury. Being chosen to represent Western Australia at this level remains an outstanding achievement.
Congratulations to all eight students on the dedication, resilience and teamwork that contributed to this historic result. We are incredibly proud to see so many Trinity students representing our state on the national stage.
