Advent: A time of Hope
God of Love,
Your Son Jesus is your greatest gift to us.
He shows us the depth of your love and faithfulness.
Help us to walk in his light each day.
Strengthen our faith as we wait in hope.
Guide our hearts to kindness and peace.
May our school be filled with love, faith, and hope this Advent.
We pray in the name of Jesus, our Savior.
Amen.
St Roch’s Whole School Remembrance Day Liturgy
‘Lest we forget’
It was wonderful to join together as a whole school community to remember those who were or are involved in war. We reflected on the courage and bravery shown by soldiers and also how strong ‘friendships’ were formed during those times.
We also acknowledge Pope Leo’s call for peace at this time.
Pope Leo calls for a peace that is ‘built on justice, love, and dialogue. A peace that is based on resolving conflicts, resolving inequalities and fostering mutual trust and hope’.
We pray that all leaders can make decisions to promote peace in our world.
A special thank you to our Year 6 leaders Daniel Derrin, Kimmy Cheng, Michael Borromeo and Evie Roberts-Critchley for leading the school in prayer and reflection.

Year 5/6 Mini Vinnies 'Christmas Appeal'
As part of our Catholic Identity, the Year 5/6 Mini Vinnies are planning their annual Christmas Appeal.
Titled ‘Little Feet, Big Footprints’, we will explore how small acts of charity can make big differences in people’s lives.
We look forward to sharing this community initiative with you soon!
