Shining in Literacy: Prep Reflections 2025

As we come to the end of the year, our Prep students took the time to reflect on their literacy learning; what they have enjoyed, what they are proud of and the amazing progress they have made. It is a joy to see how confidently they talk about themselves as readers and writers and we are incredibly proud of every student and all they have accomplished this year.

Well done to Miss Granland and thank you to our wonderful Learning Support Officers, parents and families for everything you have done to support the children in literacy this year. Your encouragement, support and teamwork make such a big difference.

Over the past few weeks, we have begun to welcome our Prep students for 2026 as part of our transition program. Watching our current Preps reflect on their growth while greeting the next group reminds us just how important these early years of literacy learning are with the children developing their reading, writing and speaking skills rapidly. Supporting them during this time sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning and curiosity.

We hope you enjoy reading the Prep reflections and celebrating their wonderful achievements with us.
