Yr 7 Reptile Incursion
The reptile incursion was an enjoyable experience, with lots of new and interesting reptiles to look at close up, and see the different features we couldn’t see in images or templates. We experienceifferent feelings than what we would expect to feel every day.
We saw reptiles glide, slide, slither, walk, and stay still. When it got to the snake, my heart pounded and I was terrified. The reptile handler had the snake around his shoulders, curled up in his sleeve, around his legs and and then he put it slowly down. The snake began to slither towards me, as I jumped on my chair he stopped and turned away.
We touched a stick insect, a shingle back lizard, and a sugar glider. It was a lovely and fun time to learn about and see what animals look like close up.
