Holy Week Celebrations at School of the Good Shepherd
Our Holy Week celebrations at School of the Good Shepherd were a truly special time for our community, as we gathered in prayer and reflection through a series of beautiful paraliturgies.
Each year level thoughtfully brought the story of Holy Week to life. Our Prep and Year 5 students reverently led us in Palm Sunday, remembering Jesus’ joyful welcome into Jerusalem. Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 students prayerfully shared the significance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday, helping us reflect on Jesus’ love, sacrifice, and service. Finally, our Year 4 and Year 6 students joyfully celebrated Easter Sunday, proclaiming the hope and new life of the Resurrection.
It was wonderful to see so many families join us for these celebrations. The students sang beautifully, participated with great reverence, and shared their learning with confidence and faith. The sense of community and spirit present throughout the week was truly uplifting.
We thank our staff and students for their thoughtful preparation and our families for their continued support in making these sacred moments so meaningful.
For those who did not have the opportunity to support our Project Compassion appeal to help communities in need gain access to safe water, we warmly invite you to donate via the QR code. Your generosity helps us make a meaningful difference through almsgiving.
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter, God Bless.
