Tennis Hot Shots Gala Day

20 of our Year 5/6 students attended the Tennis Hot Shots Gala Day on Friday, 11 September, at Merrifield Recreation Reserve. Our students did an amazing job of challenging some of the more experienced schools while also demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and respect throughout the day.

The event provided students with the opportunity to participate in a different sport, develop their tennis skills and compete in a fun and supportive environment. Our students proudly demonstrated our school values and received many compliments from other schools about the way they interacted with others and supported one another.

Our results on the tennis court were also outstanding, with our girls' squad winning 3 of their 5 games and our boys' squad winning 2 of their 5 games!

Well done to all of our students on a fantastic day and a great term of sport! We should be very proud of the way our students have conducted themselves throughout the term.
