Book Week and Book Week Parade

Roxburgh Homestead Primary School celebrated Book Week with a wonderful week of activities that encouraged our students to share their love of reading and books. A highlight of the celebrations was our Book Week Parade, where students proudly dressed as their favourite book characters. It was fantastic to see the creativity, enthusiasm, and imagination on display across the school.

Congratulations to all of our students who participated, with prizes awarded to some of our best-dressed characters. A big thank you to our families for supporting the event and helping students create such wonderful costumes.

Our Book Fair was also a great success, raising over $600 for the school. We sincerely thank our school community for their generous support. Funds raised will help us continue to provide valuable resources and opportunities for our students.

It was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate the joy of reading and the wonderful world of books.

Kinder Visits to RHPS

In Term 4, we are looking forward to welcoming the children from our neighbouring kindergarten to Roxburgh Homestead Primary School for a series of visits. These visits are an important part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening the partnership between our school and the kindergarten community.

The visits will provide our future students with the opportunity to become familiar with our school environment, meet our teachers and staff, and interact with our students. By building these connections before they officially begin school, we hope to make the transition to Foundation a more positive, comfortable and seamless experience for our new students and their families.

Developing strong relationships between our schools and early childhood settings is an important part of supporting children as they take this exciting next step in their education. We look forward to working closely with our neighbouring kindergarten and creating meaningful opportunities for the children to feel a sense of belonging at RHPS even before their first day of school.

We are very excited to welcome our future Foundation students to RHPS in Term 4 and look forward to seeing their confidence grow as they become familiar faces around our school.

Thank You for a Wonderful Term 3

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff, students and families for making Term 3 such a successful one.

Our staff have continued to work with great dedication and care to support our students in their learning, wellbeing and development. I am incredibly grateful for their commitment and the many ways they go above and beyond to provide positive experiences and opportunities for our students.

I would also like to thank our families for your ongoing support, encouragement and partnership with the school. Your involvement and support make such a difference to our school community.

I hope everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break over the school holidays. Take some time to rest, recharge and spend quality time with family and friends. Most importantly, please stay safe and enjoy the holiday break.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another exciting term at RHPS. Have a wonderful and safe holiday!
