Yilia's Outstanding Result in ICAS Mathematics

Yilia participated in the Year 3 ICAS Mathematics assessment through EduVision this year and achieved a High Distinction. She has also been awarded an ICAS Medal (Top Student in NSW) for her outstanding performance.

Gemma Takes the Stage — State Dance Company 2026

Out of hundreds of auditions across NSW, Gemma earned a place in the 2026 NSW Public Schools State Dance Company — a wonderful achievement.

The program brings together dancers of a similarly high standard to rehearse and perform across a range of styles, guided by tutors from both the professional and dance education worlds.

Last week Gemma performed at the State Dance Festival - Convergence at the Seymour Centre (Thursday 17 and Friday 18 September) with the State Intermediate Dance Company. Working with professional choreographer Holly Faulds and 25 other dancers from public schools across NSW, she helped bring the routine Night Owl to life — and loved every second of it.

"Rewarding and memorable" is how Gemma sums up the journey so far. And there's one more chapter: she'll take the stage with the State Dance Company for the final time at the School Spectacular, across four performances on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 November at Afterpay Arena.
