Message from the Principal
Cecilia Parada
Welcome back to Term 4, the last term of the school year! We hope everyone had a restful break and is ready for an exciting and busy term ahead.
To kick off the term, students across the school will be involved in a range of excursions and camps:
Year 2 will be going to Sydney Zoo.
Next week, we are proud to announce that our school choir will perform at the Sydney Opera House as part of the Ryde Performing Arts Festival – an amazing achievement!
This term we’ll be welcoming our youngest learners with the Kindergarten 2027 orientation and transition programs. Year 6 will celebrate their final term with a series of end-of-year events, including graduation and their formal.
Take note that our Presentation Day assemblies are coming up, and we’ll finish the year with our much-anticipated end-of-year concert. Throughout the term, teaching, learning, and reporting will continue.
To ensure you stay up to date and don’t miss any important information or events, please:
As we look ahead to 2027, we are beginning our planning for classes and staffing. To help us best meet the needs of our students and families, we ask all parents to please complete our short survey here.
Your feedback will guide our decisions and ensure we provide the best learning environment for every child.
Please submit 1 survey per child. You do not need to submit a survey if your child is in Year 6 this year (2026).
Surveys are due by 30 October 2026.
Additionally, if you have specific requests regarding your child’s class placement, such as students they would like to be separated from or placed with, please email me through the school email.
We value your input and will do our best to accommodate your requests. Please be aware that class placements are made using a range of factors, including academic needs, friendship groups, teacher recommendations, and balancing classes. While we will carefully consider all requests, not every request can be guaranteed due to these considerations.
