NAPLAN – Years 3 & 5

Our Year 3 and Year 5 students will be participating in NAPLAN assessments over the next two weeks (Week 7 and 8). All tests will commence promptly in the morning, so we kindly ask that students arrive at school on time, well-rested, and ready to begin.

Assessment Dates:

• Wednesday 11 March – Year 3 & Year 5 Writing
• Thursday 12 March – Year 3 & Year 5 Reading
• Friday 13 March – Year 5 Language Conventions
• Monday 16 March – Year 3 Language Conventions & Year 5 Mathematics

• Wednesday 18 March – Year 3 Mathematics

   

Please ensure your child brings a pair of headphones for each testing day, as these are required for the online assessments.

To support your child, please ensure they have a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and bring a water bottle. NAPLAN is just one of many ways we assess student learning, and we encourage all students to simply try their best.

Individual Student Reports are typically provided to schools and shared with families later in the year (usually from July/August). If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school.
