💃✨ Dancing Their Way to the New England Dance Festival! ✨💃

In June, a talented group of Glen Innes High School dance students travelled to Armidale and Inverell to participate in an exciting four-day dance workshop!

🌟 Armidale: Amelia Clifford🌟 Inverell: Tahlia Husband, Amelia Clifford, Meila Belle, Siena Villella, Khloe Doust and Mya Key.

Throughout the workshops, students had the incredible opportunity to learn choreography from two highly talented guest choreographers from Sydney and Canberra.

The girls embraced new challenges, developed their dance skills, built confidence and had a fantastic time working together! 💃💫

🎭 Now it's time to take the stage!

Our students will showcase their hard work at the New England Dance Festival, held on 12–13 November 2026 at TRECC in Tamworth.

We are incredibly proud of the girls for their dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to step outside their comfort zones. We can't wait to see them shine on stage! 🌟👏

🎸🎤 The Angry Penguins Rock Inverell's Got Talent! 🎶🌟

A huge congratulations to our talented school band, The Angry Penguins, who were invited by Inverell Rotary to perform at Inverell's Got Talent as part of the Sapphire City Festival on 16 October!

The band, featuring Payten Ward, Tahlia Husband, Mary Arandale, Maggie Duddy, Ethan Graham and Joel Gorlick, took to the stage at Inverell Town Hall to perform Locked Out of Heaven by Bruno Mars. 🎵

Competing alongside 13 other acts in the Open Category, our students had the fantastic opportunity to showcase their musical talents in front of a large community audience.

While they didn't take home a prize, they delivered a wonderful performance and gained valuable experience, confidence and memories along the way! 👏

💙💛 We are incredibly proud of The Angry Penguins for representing Glen Innes High School with such enthusiasm and talent!

Keep rocking, Angry Penguins! 🎸🐧🌟
