Jump Rope for Heart
Thank you to ALL the students who got involved with Jump Rope for Heart!
A huge thank you for the effort skipping and fundraising for the Jump Rope for Heart program this term. Together we raised an incredible $1475 and this money will all go towards vital heart research and education programs.
We’ve loved seeing so many smiling faces skipping on the playground and in our PE and sport lessons. Our Jump Off Day was a huge success, we were just overwhelmed with our students enthusiasm, perseverance and team work during this jump rope journey. We all learnt new skills, challenged ourselves and had loads of fun along the way!
Congratulations to our top fundraisers and our whole school community for getting on board this great initiative! Keep up the skipping and thanks again for the hard work!
BDSSA Cricket Gala Day
Well done to our Cricket teams for their efforts on the BDSSA Cricket Gala Day, both teams played 3 games across the day, the boys won 1 game and the girls were undefeated! This means that the girls now progress to the Whittlesea Division Cricket Carnival this Thursday October 22. Well done to all our students on a fantastic Cricket Carnival!
NMR Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to Victoria, Shia, Savannah and Janelle on making it through to the Northern Metropolitan Region Athletics Carnival, they competed in the 4 x 100m relay finishing 6th overall in the Region! In addition to this well done to Victoria who competed in the 100m and 200m individual events. This is a wonderful achievement by all! Go Heights!
