SCHOOL SPORT 2026
District and Western Sport Trials
In 2026, Mrs Francis will coordinate all district and western trial information for PSSA Sporting teams.
Some trials at a school level will be held prior to the district trials. This depends on the sport and popularity of trials at the district level.
When trialling for district and western teams, notes will go home with students from school and will need to be returned to school to Mrs Francis before the due date.
Students cannot attend trials without this note being approved by the school and students names entered into trials by the school.
Students can find out about upcoming school, district and western trials by listening to Sentral announcements in class, and parents can find out about trials by keeping up to date through the School Newsletter.
School PSSA Sporting Teams
This year we will enter the following teams in the PSSA competition. The coordinating teachers are also listed. Sporting team trials dates will be announced on Facebook and in the newsletter as well as on the daily messages that children receive in the classroom.

District Cross Country
On Friday 15th May, the District Cross Country will be held at Sulman Park Mt Panorama. Notes have been sent out via the Sentral Parent Portal for all children who have qualified to attend the carnival.
School Soccer Team

BPS Support Unit Boccia Team Trials
Congratulations and good luck to the following children who have been selected in School Boccia Team; Braylen Eade, Oscar Naylor, Elijah Robbins and Brayden Hinchliffe.
The team coach is Miss Reedy.
Training in Week 4 of Term 2 - Break 2 Monday 11th May and Break 2 Wednesday 13th May.
The Boccia competition will be held on Thursday 14th May.
School Rugby League Team
The Rugby league Gala Day will be held on Tuesday 12th May. A reminder it is mandatory that children wear mouth guards during all games.
School PSSA Team - Mixed Cricket
Our next game in the PSSA Knockout Competition is being played today, Thursday 7th May against Boorowa.
The game is being played at Cubis Park in Eglinton
