Captains Corner

We cannot believe that it is already the last two weeks of school! The school year has flown by so fast. This is a time to celebrate our learning, our achievements and our ups and downs. Being your 2024 School Captains has been an honour and privilege. We all remember starting school only a few years old and now we are about to leave for high school.

We have loved every moment of this leadership opportunity, and we will cherish this year for years to come. From leading school tours to hosting events, we must admit it’s sad to end this adventure and leave our school but at least we got to share all these wonderful memories, from Prep Prom to Graduation! 

Each time we do this, we do it with immense pride because of our fond and deep love for our school. Your hard work has laid the foundation for our success, and we aim to honour that by applying what we’ve learned as we face new challenges. 

Thank you, teachers, peers, and most importantly Mr Catalano, for being our mentors in guiding us, shaping us and moulding us into the people we are. We would not be the people we are today. Not only as captains but also as students because you are the people that push us to be the best we can.

As we bid farewell to this wonderful school we will always remember, “once you are a part of the GWPS family, you are always a part of the GWPS family” and we can’t wait to share all the interesting things that we will do in high school.
