This Sunday, 31st May, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. This feast reminds us that God is a loving communion of three Persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit—who are united as one God.
The Trinity can sometimes be difficult to understand because God is not three separate gods, but one God in three Persons. One way to help explain this mystery is through the ‘Water Analogy’. Water can exist in three different forms: ice, liquid and steam. While each form looks and behaves differently, they are all made of the same substance—water. Although no analogy perfectly explains the Trinity, it can help us appreciate how God can be three Persons and yet one God.

This weekend, thirty-two children from our parish community will receive their First Eucharist. They have been preparing for this special occasion both at school and at home.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend the 6:00 pm Mass on Saturday 30th May or the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday 31st May to celebrate with the children, their families and the parish community.
Please continue to keep these children in your prayers as they take this important step in their faith journey.

The school is currently accepting donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and new blankets, scarves and beanies for our Vinnies Winter Appeal.
These donations will be presented to our local Vinnies volunteers during the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Mass at 10:00 am on Friday 12th June. Donations can be placed in the plastic tubs outside the staffroom doors before or after school.
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in the life of someone experiencing hardship this winter. Thank you for your generosity.

That everyone might have food
Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers,
be committed to avoid wasting food,
and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food.
Amen
