Inform and Empower Term 2
This term, students will once again take part in online safety lessons delivered by Inform & Empower. As part of their Cyber Safety and Digital Wellbeing program, students will participate in a live-streamed incursion focused on developing healthy digital habits.
These sessions are designed to support students in building positive and responsible online behaviours, helping them navigate the digital world with confidence.
Prep
Each live stream is 20 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on active vs passive screen time. We will explore the difference between creating and consuming whilst considering how this can help us make clever screen time choices.
Years 1/2
Each live stream is 30 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on the importance of balancing screen time with green time, the value of healthy sleep habits, and why it can be hard to put our devices down.
Years 3/4
Each live stream is 40 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on screen time, how it makes us feel and its effects on sleep. We will also investigate the importance of balancing screen time with green time.
Years 5/6
Each live stream is 50 minutes in duration. Learning this term will focus on building a healthy relationship with devices. We will also explore the benefits of green time, the importance of sleep and the impacts of excessive screen time.
