Prayer of Love and Kindness
Today, we pause to reflect on the importance of love, kindness and compassion in our daily lives. We give thanks for the people who care for us and ask God to guide us in showing care and respect to others.
Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of love,
The love of our families, our friends, and our school community.
Help us to show kindness in our words,
gentleness in our actions,
and compassion in our choices.
Teach us to care for one another,
to include those who may feel lonely,
and to share Your love in all that we do.
May our hearts be filled with joy, gratitude,
and peace, today and always.

A Time for Prayer and Support

A Heartfelt Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to our families and staff for their wonderful engagement in Parent Teacher Conversations this week at Sacred Heart.
It was a joy to see so many families taking part in meaningful conversations about their child’s learning and growth. Your time, care, and thoughtful questions make such a difference in supporting our students to thrive.
Thank you for being an important part of our school community and for working alongside us to nurture and guide every child. Your support and partnership are truly appreciated.
Celebrating Italian Day at Sacred Heart!
We are excited to share that Sacred Heart will be celebrating Italian Day on Wednesday 11 March!
Italian Day will be a fun and engaging celebration of Italian culture, giving students the opportunity to experience Italy through music, food, and creativity.
What to expect on the day:
- Dress up: Students are encouraged to wear something Italian. This could be the colours of the Italian flag, Italian fashion, or a famous Italian person.
- Interactive Performance: Students will enjoy a lively and interactive performancewith Nadia Cavallo, whose songs are familiar to them through our Italian classroomlearning. This will take place in the Multipurpose Area.
- Italian Lunch: A special pizza, gelato and drink lunch will be available for students to enjoy. An order form with further details will be sent home shortly. We look forward to sharing this special cultural experience with our students.

Parents & Friends Morning Tea
We warmly invite all our Sacred Heart families, especially our new families, to join us for our first Morning Tea for 2026 on Tuesday 24th February. It will be a lovely chance to enjoy a cuppa, have a chat, and connect with other families and staff in our welcoming school community.
