Marvellous Morning Tea

On Friday 20 March, our wonderful Student Voice Leaders hosted Mitcham’s very first Marvellous Morning Tea! Each class from Prep to Year 5/6 enjoyed a special celebration, with students bringing along treats to share and contributing a gold coin donation to support the purchase of new sports equipment.

Thanks to their fantastic efforts, our leaders raised just over $400! We are incredibly proud of their initiative—it was a fun and meaningful way to bring our school community together while supporting a great cause.

Feedback Sessions

An important responsibility of our Student Voice Leaders is to provide valuable feedback to teachers about their learning experiences. During Planning Week, leaders from Prep to Year 5/6 met with their teachers to share their thoughts, responding to a series of questions about what they enjoy most in their learning and what they would like to see more of in the classroom.

These conversations are always incredibly insightful, offering our teachers a meaningful opportunity to connect with students and better understand their perspectives.

Please see the table below for a summary of what each year level discussed!
