Hello

I am Spencer, one of the 2026 Environment leaders. This year I aim to raise awareness about the environment and make St. Thomas More a greener place. I aim to do this by running a garden club with the other 2 environmental leaders.

This year I am looking forward to helping with the chickens and working with Jane to make the garden neater. I wanted to be an environmental leader this year because I love the garden and want to make the world more environmentally friendly.

I love the environment because it is just amazing! Did you know that trees talk to each other through the Mycorrhizal network? Basically trees talk to each other and when a tree is in distress the other trees will send over sugars and nutrients!

Thank you for having me as one of your Environmental leaders.

Hi my name is Sadie and I’m one of your Environment leaders for 2026. This year I aim to take care of the school's garden and environment, look after chickens and also look after the gardening equipment. I also hope that throughout the year the gardening club becomes more popular.

Thank you.

Hi everyone,

My name is Ollie and I’m really excited and proud to be your Environment Leader.

I care a lot about our planet and how we treat it. The environment is important because it’s where we live, play, and learn, and I want to help look after it the best I can. Being an Environment Leader gives me the chance to make a difference, even in small ways.

I’m excited to help encourage things like recycling, reducing waste, and keeping our school clean and green. I also want to help others learn how small actions, like turning off lights or picking up rubbish, can make a big difference.

I’m really looking forward to working with everyone and helping make our school an even better place for the environment. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I promise to do my best and take this role seriously.

Thank you.
