From the Principal

Dear families,

It is hard to believe that next week is the final week of Term 1. School finishes for the Term at 3:10pm on Tuesday afternoon (31st of March). Staff will continue to work through until Thursday as we prepare our documentation for the School Review process that we will undertake in Term 2. 

I would just like to thank the school community for their support in Term 1, it has been a very settled Term with lots of learning and lots of fun. Term 2 promises to be another action packed term with lots of fun activities planned for our students. We look forward to welcoming all students back for Term 2 on Monday, 20th of April. 

Please note that as of Term 2 we will no longer be using School Stream to send notifcations home to families. From Term 2, we will be using the NForma Portal to send our notifications. 

I have started to add some dates in the Important Dates tab for Term 2. Please feel free to add these dates to your diary.

Sibling Enrolments for 2027:

Sibling enrolments are due by the end of Term 1, 2026. I please urge all families who have a child starting Prep in 2027 to complete the paperwork as soon as possible. These numbers are vital as we plan class structures for next year. 

School Athletics Carnival:

Our School Athletics Carnival has unfortunately been cancelled due to the weather forecast.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused.  A new date will be announced as soon as we can.

School Photo Day:

I have had a few questions about school photo day. Our school photo day this year is Thursday 30th of April. On this day all students are expected to wear their STM Sports uniform. I would also ask that students wear the fleece zip up, rather than the red jumper. Just a reminder that the sports uniform requires white socks.
