This weekend Year 2 students and their families will be celebrating their Family Level Mass.
The theme for this weekend's mass is to love God with our whole heart.
In Matthew's Gospel, the Pharisees tried to trip Jesus up by asking:
‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the law?’ Jesus said, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: you must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets also.’
We hear Jesus’ law of love, Jesus is telling us that we show our love for God by being kind and loving to other people. God judges our love for him by the way we treat others. To love God with our whole heart means to look at and treat all those around us in a kind and loving way.

Next week the Year 3 students will be celebrating the Sacrament of First Reconciliation.
Please keep them in your prayers!
