Principal's News

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe.

The care, safety and well-being of children and young people

It is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Good evening, families,

I am delighted to announce that Tanya Stefanec has been appointed as the new Principal of St. Louis de Montfort’s. Tanya will be an exceptional leader for our community, and I am filled with gratitude knowing I am passing the baton to such capable and caring hands. St. Louis could not be in better care.

Celebrations & Community News

  • Italian Festival Performance: Our school choir gave a fabulous performance at the Italian Festival last week. A huge thank you to Mrs Stefanec and Mrs Healy for coaching and supporting the students, and to all the parents who came along to cheer them on.
  • Year 6 Market Day: Our Year 6s came together to plan and deliver another brilliant Market Day at school this week. Lots of really fun games and raffles were on show, with children from Prep to Year 5 taking part. Thank you to Mrs Traynor, Miss Barnhoorn and Mr L for working with their children to make the day a success. Check out their page in the newsletter to find out how much they raised.
  • Year 6 Cricket: Congratulations to our Year 6 cricket team on their outstanding victory at the Kingston Division final. They will now play in the Southern Region final. Special thanks to Mr Andrew for coaching and guiding the team.
  • Year 6 Basketball: An incredible effort from our Year boys' basketball team who made it all the way to the division finals. They came up against some really strong competition but managed to take away one win in their second game. Well done for taking our basketball team this far, boys.
  • Year 3 First Reconciliation: Our Year 3 students will be making their First Reconciliation on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Please keep them in your prayers during this special milestone in their faith journey.
