ISV - Review of Disability Standards for Education
The Disability Standards for Education are currently being reviewed and schools, parents and students with disability are encouraged to participate in the review.
The Standards outline the rights of students and their families and the obligations of education providers to support students with disability to access and participate in education on the same basis as students without disability. The standards are reviewed every five years to make sure they continue to meet the needs of students with disability. The last review was conducted in 2020 and consultation of the 2025 Review is now open. It will remain open until Friday 21 November.
You can have your say by making an online submission (written, video or audio files are accepted), completing an online survey, leaving a comment on the ideas wall or by participating in a consultation workshop.
Go to www.education.gov.au/dsereview2025 to find out how you can participate in the consultation and provide your feedback.
