Principal's News

Dear Famlies of Trinity Primary School,

We have had another great week at Trinity and are now past the halfway mark of the term. In the lead up to the end of the year there is much to be working on and decisions are already being made about the 2026 school year. Most staffing decisions have been made, however, there are a few changes which will occur and I will communicate these as soon as I am able. Our class structures for next year will remain the same with 2 X Prep classes, 3 X Year 1/2 classes, 3 X 3/4 classes and 3 X year 5/6 classes. As already communicated, due to the building project our Year 3/4 classes will need to be housed in the Library and the MPR. Preparations and changes will be made to ensure these spaces allow for normal learning to take place in safe and appropriate classrooms.

Senior Camp

Next week our Year  5/6 students will be heading off for their much anticipated school camp so I am sure there will be many excited children over the weekend preparing and packing for this adventure. A big thankyou in advance for our senior teachers who have all worked incredibly hard to ensure all is in place for a safe and rewarding outdoor lerarning experience at 'The Ranch'.

Fit Club

As many of you know, our Fit Club, which is run by Year 11 students from St Kevin's, is held each Thursdcay morning. Fit club has been a great program and we appreciate the generosity of St Kevin's College in enabling this program to run. Today was the last session for the year and so there will be no more Fit Club for the remainder of 2025. Special thanks to Mrs Mc Cleary who coordinates this program which we hope will be able to continue in 2026.

Assembly Tomorrow

A reminder that our assembly will commence at 2:30pm sharp tomorrow as we are also having the ABC Music concert. Prep KD will be hosting.

Junior Swimming Program (Please see Mrs Mc Cleary's Page for more information)

This term Yr Prep-2 students will be taking part in the school swimming program. The program will take place at Richmond Rec with qualified swim instructors. All classes will walk with their class teacher down to the pool which is a 10min walk down the road, take part in their lesson and then walk back. The pool caters for all schools in this area and the timing for our Swim Program was the best option for our school with what the pool could offer us.

Prep 2026 Transition Day 4

On Tuesday we had the final day of Prep 2026 Transition. Over 40 parents filled the MPR as we walked them through the Prep Handbook and answered questions about the journey that lies ahead. It is great to have many returning families amongst the new families who were also able to answer questions. We are excited about welcoming these new families next year and look forward to our Welcome Family Night where you will all get to meet them as well.

Planning for 2026 - Building Project

We have just received our official tenders for the building project and I am happy to see that several of them look really promising with a number of them coming in very positively. We will now go through the more detailed analysis of these with the hope that the successful tender can be announced shortly.
