Celebrating Academic Excellence - Noah and Felix Shine in Mathematics

We are incredibly proud of Noah and Felix from Year 1, who last term attended a special enrichment day for gifted mathematicians through G.A.T.E.WAYS. This program provided an opportunity for students to explore challenging mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies in a collaborative environment.

Noah and Felix demonstrated outstanding mathematical content knowledge throughout the day, supporting each other as they tackled complex tasks and shared creative approaches to problem-solving. Their enthusiasm for learning and ability to work together impressed us all.

When asked about the experience, the boys said, “It was fun working out tricky problems”

We also want to thank you to our teachers for recognising the boys’ potential and nominating them for this opportunity. Their commitment to identifying and fostering talent is what makes experiences like this possible.

This achievement reflects not only their talent and dedication but also the strong foundation of curiosity and perseverance that we value at St Margaret Mary’s. We celebrate their success and look forward to seeing how their love of mathematics continues to grow.

Congratulations Cormac

Congratulations Cormac who competed at his first Irish dancing competition last Sunday. He placed 4th overall and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  What an achievement for his first competiton, well done Cormac!!

Congratulations Lucas and Jude! 

What an incredible weekend of achievements for these two! Lucas not only took out the Rising Star Under 10s Award for the Clovelly Crocodiles Rugby League team and the prestigious Pop Goodsell Rising Star Award, but he also shone at the Waverley Shield Nippers Carnival at North Bondi winning the U10 board race, placing 4th in the surf swim, and helping his team to 2nd place in the board relay.

Jude also had a fantastic first carnival experience, competing in the U9

events and finishing 7th in the surf swim, 4th in the board race, and 2nd in the board relay team. Well done to both boys for their hard work and determination across multiple sports, we are so proud of you!

Congratulations to Frenchie

A massive congratulations to Frenchie in Year 5 for being honoured with the SCS Sport Medallion today at Corpus Christi College, Maroubra.

Frenchie’s outstanding achievements across Swimming, Athletics, and Cross Country have earned this well-deserved recognition. 

What an incredible accomplishment—your dedication, talent, and perseverance are truly inspiring. We are so proud of you, Frenchie!
