From the Principal's Desk

Good and Gentle God,
We pray in gratitude for our mothers and for all the women who have joined with you in the wonder of bringing forth new life.
You who became human through a woman, grant to all mothers the courage they need to face the uncertain future that life with children always brings.
Give them the strength to live and to be loved in return, not perfectly, but humanly.
Give them the support of family and friends as they care for the physical and spiritual growth of their children.
Give them joy and delight in their children to sustain them through the trials of motherhood.
Most of all, give them the wisdom to turn to you for help when they need it most.

School Camp: Building Independence and Confidence
School camps are a wonderful experience for all students involved. Over the course of the camp, students have the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, try new activities, and develop important life skills in a supportive environment.
One of the most valuable outcomes of camp is the growth in students’ independence. Being away from home encourages children to take responsibility for their belongings, manage their daily routines, and make decisions for themselves. From organising their bags to working together in group activities, students demonstrate resilience and adaptability.
Camp also provides many opportunities to strengthen social skills. Students build new connections, collaborate in teams, and support one another through unfamiliar experiences. These moments help foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
We are incredibly proud of how all students are embracing the camp experience with enthusiasm and courage. It is a pleasure to know that their confidence is growing each day.
Thank you to our staff and volunteer who made this experience possible, and to families for your support in preparing students for this important milestone.
We look forward to hearing about their adventures back at school!
All the best,
Jane Dunstone
