MOTHER’S DAY STALL 

We are very excited to be holding our annual Mother’s Day Stall on Friday 8th May. With over 400 students needing to visit the stall, we are asking students to bring in their money by Thursday 7th May. This will help us to streamline things and ensure everyone gets an opportunity to visit the stall. Unfortunately with our growing student numbers, we are unable to take IOUs from students for purchasing gifts. Any parents who are able to help set up or run the stall, are asked to contact the office. Toddler sales will be in the undercover area from 3pm on Friday 8th of May. 

PREP MOTHERS DAY VISITS 

We are excited to invite all Prep Mothers and Grandmothers to a very special Mother’s Day Celebration on Monday May 4th from 9:00-10:00am, please meet in the school community space. You will then join in some craft activities with your child before a picnic style fruit snack (Feel free to bring a picnic blanket). This event is a way to thank the wonderful women who play such an important role in the lives of our Prep students.

YEAR 5 ENROLMENT TIMELINE FOR YEAR 7

Families with a child in Year 5 this year are reminded that enrolments for Catholic secondary schools for Year 7 in 2028, close in August this year.  If you are hoping to secure a place at Thomas Carr, MacKillop College or another Catholic Secondary school for your child for Year 7, we strongly recommend that you attend one of the Open Days, listed below.  

THOMAS CARR OPEN DAY 

Thomas Carr College is excited to welcome prospective students and families to our Open Day on Sunday 3 May 2026. Get a feel for the College Community with fun activities, student-led tours, and information sessions to guide you through your child’s transition into secondary school. Explore state-of-the-art facilities, meet skilled and dedicated teachers, and discover the value of Catholic education through exceptional programs at the College.  

MACKILLOP COLLEGE OPEN DAY

TARNEIT P-9 COLLEGE - YEAR 7 SCHOOL TOURS 

Tarneit P - 9 College is currently hosting school tours for prospective 2027 Year 7 students and their families. These tours provide an opportunity to explore the school, facilities, and learning programs, and are particularly valuable for students preparing for the transition to secondary school. 

PREP 2027 ENROLMENTS – FIRST ROUND PLACEMENTS

The first round of placement offers for Prep 2027 will be issued over the coming fortnight.  These offers apply to baptised Catholic students and siblings of current students.  Families with a child commencing school in 2027 are reminded that it is essential to complete and submit an enrolment form to the school office immediately.  

Once first‑round placements have been confirmed, the school will begin considering applications for the second round of enrolments.

SACRAMENTAL DATES TERM 2 & 3

Below are our Sacramental Dates for the remainder of the year.  These dates are particularly important for Baptised Catholic students in Years 4 & 6:

Sacrament of Eucharist

Sacrament of Confirmation

• Tuesday July 21st Family Meeting 6:00pm @ St John’s School Hall 
• Saturday August 8th Sacrament of Confirmation @ MacKillop College Werribee

LUNCH ORDERS

Our Parents and Friends have organised two lunch order options for students to access.  Below are the details for which option is available on what day.  Please note that each option requires a separate App:

Mondays: Students can order a Subway lunch order via the Canteen Hub App

Fridays: Students can order a lunch order from TK Tuckshop via the Spriggy School App
