From the Principal

Welcome back to what promises to be an exciting and rewarding Term 2. I hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and is ready for a term filled with learning, connection, and memorable experiences across our school community.
This term is a vibrant one with a few events and opportunities for families to engage and celebrate together!
- Week 2 – Mother’s Day Stall. Our annual Mother’s Day stall will give students the opportunity to purchase a special gift for the important women in their lives. You can find more details on the Parent Information page (Mother’s Day is Sunday 10th of May)
- Friday 8th May - A coffee cart has been organised for after school on the oval. This will coincide with a game of cricket between the school A grade cricket team, staff and parents at 2.30pm.
- Dads and Kids Camp – Weekend of Week 3. This much-loved event is a fantastic chance to build connections and create lasting memories. If you haven’t already done so, please register as soon as possible via QKR.
- Week 5 – Reconciliation Week. A meaningful time for reflection, respect, and learning as we acknowledge and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions.
- Week 6 - Stage 3 Family Connection Night I (Mrs Stevens) will host some board games in the gym and other activities for our Stage 3 students and their families. (please reach out if you are looking for some way to volunteer at school)
- Week 7 – King’s Birthday Public Holiday (Monday 8th June). A reminder that there will be no school on this day.
- Week 9 – Senior Primary Showcase. We look forward to seeing our senior primary students shine both on stage and behind the scenes with this year's showcase performance 'Shrek: The Musical'.
While we had school photos taken last term, we are anticipating that they will be here close to the end of Term 2. Unfortunately, the timing of this is out of our control.
Term 2 provides a wonderful balance of academic focus and community connection. I encourage all families to stay involved, attend events, worship and assemblies where possible, and continue supporting your child’s learning journey.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing partnership and support. I am looking forward to another fantastic term together.
Blessings,
Evie
