Event Spotlight: Launceston Competitions

Launceston Competition Results

Last Monday, our Primary students in Year 1 through to Year 6 performed at the Princess Theatre in the choir sections of the Launceston Competitions. The choirs impressed the adjudicator, Jane Edwards, with their lovely sound, dynamics, and energy. She praised our choirs for their commitment, engagement, and vibrant performances.

The results are:

🥇 1/2 Choir – First Place

🥇 3/4 Choir – First Place

🥇 5/6 Choir – First Place

🥇 Vocal Ensemble (12 singers from Years 4 and 5, pictured) – First Place

Congratulations to our students on their performances, and to our wonderful choir teacher, Mrs van Zetten, and our parent volunteers!

There were also a number of our Secondary School competing in the Launceston Competitions this year. Thank you to Mr Stewart and Mrs van Zetten.
