Book Week Dress-Up Day Brings Stories to Life!

 On Wednesday 2 September, Naranga School was transformed into a colourful world of characters, creativity, and imagination as we celebrated our annual Book Week Dress-Up Day.

Students and staff embraced the occasion with enthusiasm, arriving dressed as a wonderful range of book characters and story-inspired creations. From classic favourites to modern heroes, the costumes were fantastic and showcased the creativity and effort that went into preparing for the day.

A huge thank you to all students, families, and staff who got involved and helped make the event such a success. It was wonderful to see everyone joining in the fun and 

celebrating the joy of reading together.

Book Week is a special opportunity to recognise the important role that books and stories play in learning, imagination, and connection. Seeing our school community come together in such a positive and enthusiastic way made the day even more memorable.

Dress Up Competition Winners

As part of our Book Week celebrations, prizes were awarded for the best costume in each section of the school. The winners received a $20 voucher to spend at the Book Fair, giving them the opportunity to choose a great new book to enjoy.

Selecting the winners was no easy task, with so many amazing costumes on display throughout the day. We were impressed by the creativity, effort, and enthusiasm shown by all students. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Book Week Dress-Up Day such a memorable and enjoyable celebration of reading and imagination.
