Library News "Check out" some of our new books ..., Becky Culpepper lives at 34 Rufus Street. You might be surprised to know that is her name, because most people think her name is Becky Brush-your-hair. But no matter how many people tell her, or how often, Becky never brushes her hair. One morning, just as Becky was leaving for school, her mum called, ‘Becky! Brush your hair. Something terrible could happen!’ This is the story of the something terrible that did., When a new family moves into the property next to the Weston farm, suddenly Jo and her beloved dog Billie have a new best friend and netball buddy, Ava. But strange things are happening in Talma Valley. Farm gates are left open, Jo’s escape-artist cow Moo-dini is on the loose, mountain bikers are going missing –- and then ... Billie disappears! Jo and Ava will have to use all their wits to solve the mysteries., Where do they go, these long-loved things? These stories told, these songs we sing? Once a memory is made, it remains. Even when it is forgotten., Welcome to Monkey Island! Poppy and Billy live in a lighthouse with a gorilla named Harold and the world's greatest inventor -- their mum! But a normal day is turned upside-down when Mum is kidnapped by 'The Fugitives' and taken back to their secret volcano lair. Luckily, Poppy and Billy have Mum's greatest invention yet: a marvellous submarine. With the help of the animal crew, the twins set off on a wild adventure to save Mum, and maybe even stop 'The Fugitives' from draining the Pacific Ocean. There'll be pirates, blue whales, exploding basketballs, and a whole lot of water. Just as well Poppy and Billy aren't regular kids., Millie and Stella's very favourite thing is riding their ponies together. But gates are being left open in their paddock, and Millie and Stella are being blamed! Can the girls figure out who is behind the mischief before their beloved ponies are put in danger?, As well as these AWESOME non-fiction titles ...
