Mid North Coast Year 12 Leadership Camp

Clontarf Leadership Camp

The March 2025 Leadership Camp was timed perfectly before Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred hit Queensland and Northern NSW, which meant our Year 12 Kempsey boys could take part in our MNC Leadership Camp at Burleigh Heads.

Over three days, they engaged in team-building activities, swimming, fishing, shopping, and a long drive home. Our Leadership session on Day 2 saw all Year 12 members participate in group discussions on their major trip, reflecting on what it means to be a leader in the Academy and setting goals for 2025. The camp provided valuable lessons on resilience, responsibility, and teamwork.

The experience not only strengthened their bond as a cohort but also equipped them with the skills and confidence to lead in their final year of schooling and beyond. A huge thank you to Grant Schubert and the MNC Clontarf staff for making this camp a success! This was a great camp and there is no doubt our Year 12 students have come back with a lot of motivation and focus to finish Year 12 this year.

Thanks to Hinchy who came along as our teacher for the couple of days, even missing his 20th wedding anniversary in the process (Thanks to you too Kristy!).

We can't wait to see how these young men apply themselves for the rest of the year.
