Netball Round 1 - Game Day Reminders

To help ensure games run smoothly, please make sure players are game-day ready by:

  • arriving 30 minutes before the scheduled game time
  • removing all jewellery prior to arrival
  • bring a filled water bottle
  • wearing navy bottoms 'bike shorts' under the netball dress
  • parking at the venue can be challenging, so please allow extra time on game days.

For fixtures, game times, and competition updates, parents are encouraged to download the NetballHQ App | Powered by PlayHQ, which provides the easiest access to all fixtures and relevant information.

Spectators & Sideline Expectations

We kindly ask all parents and spectators to help create a positive and respectful environment for players and officials.

  • Only the coach may move up and down the sideline, and all spectators must remain stationary.
  • Spectators are required to stand behind the yellow line around the full perimeter of the court to allow umpires sufficient space to move freely, and spectators are not permitted behind the court near the goal posts.
  • All spectators are expected to show respect to players, coaches, and umpires at all times.
  • Spectators must not address umpires before, during, or after the game; only players, with guidance from the captain or coach, may communicate with umpires regarding on-court matters.

Game Concerns

If you have a concern during a game, please speak with the coach or team manager in the first instance, who can then contact me directly if further assistance is required. Please do not approach the PNA desk, as game-related concerns can only be addressed with approval from a Club Coordinator and the completion of a complaint card.

Failure to comply with these expectations may result in fines being issued by the Perth Netball Association (PNA).

Thank you to all families for your cooperation and ongoing support. Your positive involvement plays a vital role in making netball a rewarding experience for our players.

We wish all teams the very best for Round 1 and look forward to a fantastic season ahead!
