TWILIGHT SPORTS 2026

On Wednesday 22nd April, St Luke’s held the annual Twilight Sports Carnival.  During Term 1, the students worked hard preparing for the carnival by training in all their events in PE classes and during sport on Fridays.  The sport captains also worked hard choosing their team song, choreographing their dances and teaching all the students in their house colour, the moves.  What a great show they put on for us all.  Well done to team Staunton for winning the double points awarded for their dance.

All students performed exceptionally well, with some very close races that kept our marshals on their toes.  Congratulations to our annual Father James Staunton 200m sprint winners, Rose and Maximus.  Well done to our overall Twilight Sports champions, Egan, House for their outstanding achievement and fantastic team spirit throughout the event.

A special thank you to all our fantastic volunteers.  We were so lucky to have so many great helpers who made this community event a great success.  The P&F did a great job setting up the marquee and supplying the students with refreshing fruit to keep them going in the afternoon.  We were blessed with magnificent weather, enthusiastic students and a fantastic turn out of spectators.  Thank you to everyone who contributed.
