Week 6

Our PAX Word of the Fortnight is teamwork. On Monday, I read the story Fill my Bucket in our Monday morning muster. "Filling your bucket" can mean practicing daily kindness and emotional positivity.

Emotional bucket filling is a concept of self-care and spreading positivity and we are encouraging our students as part of our teamwork focus to do something everyday to help fill someone's bucket, which in turn fills their own.

  • The Concept: Everyone carries an invisible bucket holding their good thoughts and feelings.
  • Fill Others: Showing love, paying a compliment, smiling, or helping someone in your community fills their bucket.
  • Fill Yourself: The best part? When you fill someone else’s bucket, you fill your own!

Our Stage One students have shown this beautifully while building bridges strong enough to hold a toy car!

Students shared ideas, helped each other, and worked together to solve problems.  Well done, Stage One!

Here is the link to the online story.
