Visit from the UN Youth Ambassador

Last Thursday, we were fortunate to welcome Satara Uthayakumaran, the 2025 Australian UN Youth Representative.

As part of the Australian Youth Representative Program, Satara is currently undertaking a national “Listening Tour,” engaging with young people across Australia’s diverse communities. This initiative provides a platform for young Australians to share their visions, challenges, and perspectives on key domestic and global issues.

Last Thursday, Red Cliffs Secondary College hosted a face-to-face consultation that brought together Satara and our student leaders, giving our students a platform to voice their views on issues that matter to them. The discussion was robust and engaging, culminating in the students drafting a letter to the Prime Minister, which Satara will personally deliver.
