Curriculum Day

Today our staff are attending professional learning along with 120 other staff members from Colac and district schools in Reading. The day’s content focusses primarily on the essential elements and best strategies for effective instruction relating to comprehension and vocabulary.

2024 Annual Report

Our 2024 Annual Report has been recently confirmed by the Department of Education and we will be sharing with our school community. You will be able to find this report on our school website in the coming week. Elements include Opinion Surveys and academic achievement data.

Cross Country Results

We recently had a number of students attend the Colac and District Cross Country with staff from multiple schools particularly complimentary of our students behaviour and encouragement of others. A big congratulations to all students involved and especially to Darcy C, Isabel R and Zayli R who have all made it through to the Greater Western Region Cross Country in Warrnambool on May 26

Swimming Program

Our Swimming in School program returns next week!

This year our program will be;

Wednesdays: Grade 3-6: 1:30-2:30 at Bluewater Swim School

Fridays: Prep-2 : 11:15-12:15 at Heathers Swim School

Please ensure your child/children bring their bathers, towel and any additional resources that they may use swimming (goggles, ear plugs etc.) in a separate bag to the school bag on these days.

There will be no cost to families for this program as the monies raised through our Fundraising Team have helped support this program

Do It For Dolly Day

Last week we acknowledged Do It For Dolly Day. A day where we helped spark conversations and encouraged students to speak up to support and encourage others when in challenging situations.
